Why is “virtue signaling” used as an epithet? Shouldn’t we all be virtuous? Isn’t everything we say online some kind of signal? Why shouldn’t we try to voice the love and the good in the world? Why should my saying that YES I DO GOOD THINGS AND SO SHOULD YOU be labeled and demeaned? You’re just “virtue signaling”. So??? Sling your weak ass epithets all you like. Give me your half baked insult and I will wear it with pride and I will continue to talk about the human urge toward virtue. Better than being an internet troll bashing people for speaking about and promoting that we act on our better angels. The world has far more than enough people passing their vices along. Teach compassion, teach love. And to hell with the assholes that say that talking about your good works in the world is somehow a bad thing. I just want the world to be better and believe in living what you preach.
