I almost just made the "arms tired" joke to someone on an airplane. But I don't know them well enough to make stupid jokes yet.

My darling man and I had our first conversation four years ago today. It was almost two more years before we fell in love. But it feels like he's been there for me, been MY rock, for far longer. It's wild to me that he's not part of older memories.

OK, ladies, so I know there are worse things going on the world, but I've lost two of my favorite pairs of pants and wanted to vent. First, my favorite pair of jeans went missing. Poof, gone. Second, the comfortable, slimming comfort-me corduroy pants I've been wearing on and off for 20 years died by getting a rip in a place that can't be fixed.

I like each for different reasons. 25. Favorite season? Spring. Copy and paste.

I have a friend who posted a photo in support of how much Trump is accomplishing. About 50 people liked it and there are dozens of supportive comments. I'm lost. I'm the lone voice of "wtf" on that chain. What are these people so proud of him for accomplishing? I can't get a straight answer, when I ask.

When my children were born, I was in rather extreme poverty. But, I had befriended Lisa while I taught her youngest kids. I'd sung at her second wedding, and I'd adored her, such a great mom. Most organized person I'd ever met. And never a hair out of place. Always with a smile. I could go on. When my kids were born, it took me three weeks to get out of bed. Rough c-section. I wasn't asking anyone for help, but somehow Lisa knew (having four kids gave her special insight) that I'd need meals. She brought over three weeks worth of prepared meals, perfectly labels and placed into segmented Tupperware, of course, which got tucked into the freezer and eaten one at a time, when there was literally nothing else in my larder. She saved my butt, even if she didn't know it. She's one of the best moms, I looked up to her, she influenced how I raised my own daughters. She will be missed.

I tried to use clock-based directional coordination with my mom, told her I was on her three after we got separated in traffic but I caught up with her at a red light. And... shouldn't have been surprised the French Literature degree didn't teach her to know any military lingo.

For those of you thinking of watching the upcoming LEAKED Game of Thrones episodes: you will get a virus at the very least. There will not be a single location where you can download this that you're not putting some bot, virus or trojan or some horrid background software into your computer. Don't do it, you risk destroying your machine, turning your device into an unethical bot for the dark web, or getting ransomware, or or or. It's totally not worth it, save yourself from your own lack of patience. And that's entirely independent of the fact that you would be depriving HBO of the remuneration that they richly deserve for this beautifully put together show, while rewarding those who hack and steal and leak.

Grown children are strange things. I miss when they were tiny. When they wore Powerpuff Girls costumes to bed, asked a billion questions that made me rethink the universe and wanted star-shaped sandwiches to go with their starfruit slices. But then again, it's nice not to have so much peanut butter in my hair, to be able to fully relax without listening for that eerie quiet that meant trouble, to be able to have real glass in the house, and not to have seventy thousand activities to drive them around to. So, I guess it's a mixed bag.
